This two stone sapphire ring pairs an emerald-cut purple sapphire with a round green sapphire. The purple stone weighs 1.70 carats. The green stone weighs 0.32 carats. Both are natural, untreated color variations of the same gem family. Because the cuts differ, each stone reads distinctly even sitting side by side. The emerald cut shows flat, mirrored facets, while the round cut sparkles more evenly. The size difference also gives the pairing a clear visual hierarchy.
Purple and green sit at opposite ends of the color wheel. Placed together, the two sapphires create clear visual contrast. Neither stone is set to outrank the other in size or placement. This two stone sapphire ring treats both gems as equal focal points. The pairing feels deliberate rather than decorative, built around the two stones themselves. Each stone’s prongs are shaped separately to match its exact cut.
Fourteen round brilliant diamonds line both shoulders of the band. Together, they weigh 0.15 carats, at VS1 clarity and G color. The diamonds graduate in size as they approach the two sapphires. Consequently, the band builds toward the center rather than staying flat. At 2.97 grams total, the ring stays light despite its detailed shoulders. This makes it comfortable for extended, everyday wear. The graduated sizing also keeps the transition to the center smooth.
Each sapphire is prong-set individually in our Cairo workshop. Nothing about this two stone sapphire ring is cast with the stones pre-placed. Our team sets the purple sapphire first. They then position the green sapphire to sit flush against it. The diamond shoulders are set separately, stone by stone. The piece is made entirely in-house, start to finish. Because of this, we can resize it or reset a stone later. The same workshop that built it can maintain it for years to come.
